Radvan Bahbouh, Ph.D. Abstract: The theses is dedicated to facial expressions of emotions, it begins with a brief introduction to the topic of emotions as one of the cognitive functions, there is a definition of the term, classification of emotions and their psychopathology, it briefly summarizes the various theories of emotions. The greater part of the theoretical section is devoted to basic emotions and their manifestation in the face, as well as the ability to recognize and imitate them. The theoretical part is closed by the topic of emotional intelligence as a unifying element that highlights the importance of this issue. Empirical part is primarily focused on two abilities related to facial expressions of emotions, specifically the recognition and the production of them, then links these capabilities with additional characteristics as the gender, the education and their self-estimation. The main finding of this theses is that there is a statistical significant relationship (ρ=0.35, α=0.05) between the emotion recognition and production. The specifics of the educational process for children in school facilities for institutional care

FOŘTOVÁ, Markéta. The specifics of the educational process for children in school facilities for institutional care. Charles University in Prague. The topic of the thesis is problems of specifics of educational process by children in school facilities for institutional care. The thesis set a goal discover by observation difference between the educational process at ordinary basic school and the educational process at basic school by children's home. Within an educational process the author has been comparing both of types of schools. The theoretical part of thesis defines the educational process and specifics of education of children with behaving disorders. The qualitative research has used to achievement a goal. There have methods of observation and interview used in research. Knowledges and results of research can be exploited to improvement of quality of the educational process in practice.
Behavioral disturbances according to ICD-10 at pupils of elementary school and special elementary school

The goal of the bachelor thesis is to map the occurrence of behavioural disorders in the base of pupils in special elementary schools and in standard elementary schools, in the same time. The guiding document for this thesis is the International Classification of Diseases, rev. 10 (ICD-10), supplemented within particular diagnoses by specific case history of school practice. There is a brief historical overview of the ICD's development and its current form followed by successively given various diagnoses of behavioural disorders together with a brief description of diagnosis, symptoms and procedures to address or treat these disorders in the thesis. The bachelor's thesis is focused to individual case histories, then. In the context of reported cases, the manifestations or solutions of rate of problems are outlined within school pupils as they occur in common practice of elementary schools. Comparison of theoretical and practical part brings new and interesting information, in this context.

Recognition of Facial Expressions of Emotions

Title: Recognition of Facial Expressions of Emotions Author: Mgr. Markéta Zajícová Department: Department of Psychology, Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Arts Supervisor: Mgr. Ing. Martin Vraný Abstract: This work addresses the topic of emotion recognition from facial expressions. The theoretical part starts with general information about emotions; the most elaborated part, however, concerns basic emotions and their manifestation. One part of this work is also about the ability to recognize emotions, its deficits, and its methods of measurement. The theoretical part is closed by the topic of emotional intelligence, which is the overarching element. The empirical part focuses on the differences in the ability to recognize emotions. The results show that women are better in emotion recognition than men, similarly psychologists and coaches, unlike patients with a psychotic disorder whose results are sub- normal. The results also suggest the tendency of positive correlation between the level of education and the coveted ability - with increasing education the ability to recognize emotion expressions is improved. Subtle emotions are recognized with more difficulties in the test, but emotions displayed by out-group members are, against the expectations, better recognized. The results are unable to confirm...
